Chickpeas Hummus with Veggie Sticks
1 cup Chickpeas (or can)
1 Clove of Garlic
2 tbsp Olive oil
½ tsp Cumin powder
½ tsp Himalayan Pink Salt
1 tsp Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
2 tbsp Tahini (sesame paste)
23 tbsp Water
½ tsp Paprika (smoked is a good choice)
1 dash Cayenne pepper or chili flakes
1 stick Celery
- Blend everything (except veggies) in a food processor until smooth and creamy. You can add a bit more of water or olive oil. If you don’t like it spicy just don’t add chili and cayenne pepper.
- Serve your creamy hummus with sliced carrot, cucumber or celery sticks. Hummus is also delicious as a spread on vegan sandwiches and tortilla wraps.
