Full Body Stretching
This is my all time favorite full body stretching routine I do every time after the workout. We all know that stretching is super important specially after the training or just by itself on a light days or recovery days. If you are sore stretching will help you flush out build up lactic acid from your body and you should feel better after doing it. You will still be sore but your recovery will speed up. With stretching and mobility exercises you will activate your blood flow and your body will slowly open up, specially if you are feeling any stiffness.
Also by doing stretching every single day your flexibility will improve. I always recommend doing full body stretching even if you have worked out only your upper body, for example. It is always beneficial to move the entire body anyway. In this specific routine i target all the major muscle groups with different stretches. You can hold the stretch up to 2 min or more if you feel like it. Just remember to avoid any jerky or ballistic movements because you can easily snap a connective tissues. Specially if this is the only easy stretching you will do in a day and it is not after a workout. Now wear something light and stretchy and try this stretching with me.
